Got this in the iced tea set at the end of the season last year, basically bought it only for my girls to have the blueberry bliss & pineapple kona pop.

This is very similar in raspberry taste to Teaopia’s Raspberry Mint mojito. It’s very raspberry tasting, not really getting the lemon & thankfully you don’t taste the mate.
I would consider adding mint to this one when I run out of the mojito one.

FINALLY finished this today. I threw in a little plain mate.. It still has a wonderful tart raspberry lemonade flavor.

Somehow I made it onto the nice list, and Santa brought me this tea for Christmas! I am a huge fan of tart teas, and this one is definitely a kick in the taste buds. It’s got everything I love… Rosehips, hibiscus, lemongrass… Yum! It tastes like raspberry lemonade, but with an extra special flavor note from the lemongrass. My first cup was hot, but I know this will be delicious over ice in the summer! Thank you, Santa! <3

I adore raspberries. As a kid my hands were always stained red during the summer from picking wild raspberry bushes. So, I can’t pass up a raspberry infusion with a mate as a pick me up in the morning.

Dry it smells of fresh lemongrass and raspberry. But Wowee! is it ever tart! The tartness hides any evidence of the mate, but I do feel the caffinee in the morning. I can’t drink this tea by itself, but I mix it with a variety of fruity herbals or oolong, and fill my morning tumbler for the trip to work. I’m not sure if I would purchase it again, but it is growing on me and it does get me going in the morning.

Oh, I’ve had those raspberries moments too, except I wasn’t as neat as you were, my mom tells me I had a berry face coming out of the bushes! Sigh, nostalgia….

Alright, this tea is quickly growing on me, as I am finding new dimensions of dark flavors.

It really helps that the fruity flavor gives it so much body, and the citrus really helps with the tartness.

Of course, the beautifully fruitful aroma is still there, dry, steeped and brewed.

I had high hopes for this tea. I had tried other mates before, and I like raspberry, so I figured I would like this. It smells good dry, you can see raspberries and you can smell the lemongrass part for sure.

I brewed it, and my first thought was that it burned the back of my throat, my second thought was that it was way too lemony. I gave it a fair go, I brewed it a few times, but I had to give up, I just don’t like it. Not enough raspberry, too much lemon

I had the same reaction to this one… I am going to give it a chance iced before I give up on it!

I actually enjoy this one. I must be the odd duck out! lol For me it really depends on what day it is. I’m not huge on mate or rooibos.

First cold brew attempt and may I just say, holy cup of yummy tartness! This tea is nearly perfect, although not terribly tea-y. Great alternative to sugary lemonades. Added a touch of splenda (well, generic splenda) just to cut the tartness a bit.

Very refreshing and the mate caffiene is a nice addition, especially during long, boring meetings.

Could use a bit more tea in there, but other than that it’s nearly perfect. Easy to cold brew too.

Hmm…cold brew resteep not so good.

There’s no tea in it. It’s a mate herbal infusion, and herbals rarely steep well the second time. I like adding Silver Yin Zhen Pearl to it, it’s an excellent subtle white tea that takes well to a five minute brew. If you’re interested, I could send you a small sample. Just shoot me a PM.

So my husband gave me the look that means “Friday is video game night… quit goofing off in the kitchen!” I knew I had to make something to take with me upstairs and those GM samplers are just too small.

I mixed up a mug that was half Teavana’s Mate Lemon Blast and half Teavana’s Raspberry Riot Lemon Mate.

I believe next time I try this I’ll decrease the amount of Lemon Blast, since the smoky mate flavor is still coming through (it’s present in the LB but not in the Raspberry Riot, that I’ve noticed).

The blend does tone down the tartness of the RR, which is a nice change. Sometimes I like the tart, but some days I’m just not up for it.

To be fair, raspberry mint mojito from teaopia was my favorite tea. This one is close to it, but for me, is missing the mint… so it leaves me wanting more. I do like this though, it realistically tastes like raspberry lemonade which is nice, and the mate gave me a nice kick for the afternoon.. not a bad blend. I made this iced, and like raspberry mint mojito, I think that iced would be the better blend. I like the mint mojito hot, but I feel like this one would be way too tart.
