From Teavana

This fragrant and rare hand-rolled tippy black tea from the Yunnan province unfurls to release a smooth-bodied taste with sweet, chocolaty, and malty undertones. Good for multiple infusions. This is a perfect morning and afternoon tea.

How to Prepare

Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 8 ounces of water. Heat water to just before boiling (195 degrees) and steep for 3-4 minutes. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.

Ingredients:

Hand-rolled, pure black tea.

I love the wine/fruit undertone of this tea. Nice and bold flavor, that holds up well in milk, but is just as good without.

I prefer using 2 tea balls per cup, but you can easily get by on one. Very malty and soothing. Nice quality black tea.

Not much of a black tea drinker other than a super Darjeeling~ this one caught my eye and taste buds with it’s mellow cocoa tones. Yum, first hot then iced!

Not your average black tea. The pearls were gorgeous to watch as they unfurled, and the taste is crisp and warm, with a spicy undertone.
