From Teavivre

The liquor is very clear yellowish green and has a typical herbal aroma. When drinking, the mint and licorice collectively create an intriguing refreshing mint flavor, which is so smooth, gentle and refreshing, disperses evenly on the tongue and rapidly spread to your stomach through oral cavity giving your whole body a feeling of coolness from start to finish. It’s truly a nice tea for you in hot summer days.

Many thanks to TeaVivre for another generous sampler! This herbal tea has a wonderfully relaxing lemongrass aroma. The flavour is a nice blend of lemongrass and mint. The licorice isn’t super noticeable, but that’s for the better as I find licorice and fennel can sometimes ruin a tea for me. I can see this being perfect paired with a Thai food meal or for a spa day. I suspect it would be quite a refreshing chilled tea.

This was the second tea we had during lunch, and for being paired with food I loved it! I already like lemongrass tea, and the mint in this made I truly refreshing. I also really enjoy licorice root, so bam bam bam, three hits. Definitely serving this to guests this summer and will probably need to reorder this one. We had it hot, and I am eager to try it iced, too.

Water: 16oz

Leaves: mixture of lemon grass & various other items

Steep: 5m

Aroma: Lemon & Mint

Color: Dark yellow

Clarity: Great

Taste: The aroma really shined when hot water was poured over the leaves. Boom came the fragrance of lemons and mint! This tea was quite nice very light w/ a hint of flavor and mint. I’m normally not a fan of lemon grass based tea or pure lemon grass. Overall a plain tea w/ simple flavors different from my usual go to.
