From Tetley

We’ve married the sophisticated flavour of green with the buoyant taste of mint. The result is a tea that’s exquisitely refreshing. An excellent drink at any time, Tetley Mint Green Tea is especially superb right after meals as some people find it aids in digestion. You’ll delight in the delicious flavour with every single sip.

I snagged a bag of this at work today and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The mint flavour is quite definitely present but doesn’t overwhelm the green tea, I could definitely tell this was a green tea with mint, the green was the centerpiece, the star, and the mint made a nice supporting cast.

I used the hot water dispenser in the cafeteria and was a bit worried it would turn out bitter from scortching the leaves or oversteeping but no bitterness to be found at all! While I’m sure there are probably better mint greens out there in the loose leaf world I’m bumping the rating up a bit on this one because it was really good for a bagged tea, and the convenience factor cannot be denied. I might consider picking some of this up when I need a bagged green for on the go.

Having this one for breakfast today. It’s right around zero right now but feels colder! Anyway, this tea smells amazing and wintery, but I’m not sure why I didn’t just brew up a mint tea, since I prefer it! Probably subconsciously screaming CAFFEINE!!

I drink this sometimes at my fiancée’s house. I really like the mint and green tea combo. However, I have to give a lower rating because I always prefer loose leaf tea over ground-up-and-bagged tea like Tetley (You get more flavour out of loose leaf).

I had a few bags of this in my cupboard and decided to make it as a cold brew. 4 bags, 1 liter, for about 13 hours. I brewed it for a bit longer than I had originally intended to. I forgot about it… I find for me, with cold brewed greens, I like a much shorter cold brew time.

This one is ok. The mint is kind of refreshing after shovelling snow for the last hour (and I am not even done). The mint though, is bordering almost on toothpast mint. The green tea is light. It didn’t get bitter or astringency which is why I don’t like to cold brew greens for too long.

Definitely will be able to drink the last of this.

This is a really well-balanced flavour combination which can be appreciated by green tea lovers and mint tea lovers alike.

This is my very favourite tea. It’s certainly not fancy, but it’s a really nice any-time-of-the-day cuppa.
