Just when you thought strawberry shortcake couldn’t get any better. Well now it can with our guilt-free version of the dessert. This tea is a blend of white tea, angel food cake and bavarian cream flavors topped off with sliced strawberries. A new staff favorite!

This has white tea, angel food flavor, bavarian cream and strawberries. You can see the ingredients. I’t smells mostly like white tea and strawberry. I steeped this for a couple or so minutes. This tastes like white tea with a kind of sweet strawberry and a kind of cake cream to I’t. Pretty good. Would of been better if the strawberry tasted abit tart.
Another VariaTEA share! This is one that sounds really good in theory, but steeped out I found it disappointing. Not necessarily bad tasting, but just not overly flavourful. I got strawberry from the taste, but there was a bit of a dullness/flatness to it, and there wasn’t really anything in the blend that reminded me of shortcake at all. Some strong timothy hay notes from the white tea. I actually thought the tea itself was the strongest flavour and far outweighed the taste of the strawberry or anything that may have been intended to be cake-like.
Again, not bad – I definitely finished the cup and would drink it again if served. I just don’t think it comes close to conveying its namesake.
