I may have found the first TWG tea that is definitely not for me! I’m getting mostly bitterness, but I’ll try cream and sugar to see if it mellows out. OMG, that is so much better. It still has a harsh edge to it, but it is drinkable now. I’m getting a little maltiness in there and it is smooth at the end of the sip. Still… I don’t like it.

Try reducing the temperature and reduce the leaf. My Ceylons can be sensitive to both of these. I use 1tsp/8oz and keep the temperature under 95°C.
