From Twinings

English Breakfast is our most popular tea. To create this well-balanced blend, we select some of the finest teas, each with its own unique characteristics.

Tea from Kenya and Malawi, provides the briskness and coppery-red colour while Assam gives full-body and flavour. The robustness from these regions is complemented by softer teas from other regions.

The combination yields a complex, full-bodied, lively cup of tea that is perfect any time of day.

Notes: Smooth, Flavorful, Robust

Ingredients: Fine black tea expertly selected from Kenya, Indonesia, Assam, Malawi and China

Brewing Instructions: Add freshly boiled water. Steep 4 minutes or to desired strength. Do not microwave.

This English Breakfast tea is a classic for me – I just love the taste and smell of it. This blend is especially wonderful because it is not too strong but not too mild either. It is a very comfortable & enjoyable tea and I would highly recommend it to everyone. Even if you are not an ‘avid’ tea drinker, this is a basic tea that you should have in your cupboard for a rainy day or snowy evening.

Doesn’t do anything fancy, but it doesn’t claim to. Just a good solid cup of black breakfast tea. The only thing that rivals this for the morning is Twinings’ Irish Breakfast.

One of my favorites; especially with milk (or cream) and sugar (or honey). Mmmmmm.

My everyday tea. If I don’t start the day with this, I get cross.

This is a really good, solid tea to always have in your cupboard :)
It’s a pretty standard english breakfast (therefore a score of ~80)and doesn’t taste any different from ones I’ve tried from Davids, or elsewhere for that matter. One thing that does tempt me to slide the score a bit upwards more so is their lovely packaging! I’m a sucker for good branding :)
The individual packets (I’ve the bagged ones) are so nice, and I always make sure to look at the tags, and this one is quite lovely as always.
These things all add to the experience, right?! :)

A great tea. It’s solid and it’s awesome. There isn’t much to say about it other than I really enjoyed it. I take it with a bit of soy milk and a sprinkle of sugar, with the bag left in.

I just bought this loose leaf and used it in my cup infuser, in a large mug. one tablespoon of tea steeped 3 minutes, and found it a little weak. I had this in Europe as as I live in Canada and it tasted great, although today it is lacking. How can I make it better?
