Another old subscription tea not in the database. I’m hoping that one day, I can find the info on this tea that I was originally sent – I don’t believe I tossed the inserts, though I don’t know where they are right now, offhand.
The name of this doesn’t have much meaning for me, except that ‘mei’ and ‘gui’ both make me think of honey sweetness/leafhoppers. And maybe there’s something to that, as I do feel like this tea is sweeter, especially in comparison to the oolong I just drank. Similar minerality, but less woody. Certainly prefer this; perhaps because the usual cultivar was used, and it produces a better cup? I’m not sure.
