Gongfu!
This tea has a warm and sort of fuzzy astringency that reminds me both of the soft orange glow of a sunset and that static electricity kind of feeling of a limb falling asleep. The taste is mellow and sweet with both a slightly brothy vegetal note and lingering finish of stonefruits. Peach skins, nectarines, mandarin oranges, and that sort of thing. Maybe punctuated by the coating sweetness of something like licorice root or anise in the aftertaste, with a very nice huigan. With a name like “Dance” I would almost expect something super lively, but instead, this tea is a gently building thrum like hearing the music of a late night party from several rooms away. And it just works.
