This tea is very malty, too malty for my tastes. There are some chocolate notes behind the malt. It is a very strong black tea. If you don’t mind strong malt flavor I think you would like this tea. It was as I recall pretty cheap, something like $6 for fifty grams. I guess I couldn’t expect too much from it. I find it ironic that this is “Spring Tips” tea and it is from Autumn.

I brewed this once in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 3 tsp leaf and 200 degree water for 3 minutes.
