From Yunnan Sourcing

Tong Mu Guan Village in the Wu Yi Shan is well-known for it’s black teas and oolongs. Our winter harvest Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong is from an un-managed and natural tea garden (野放茶园) in Tong Mu Guan area. The cooler weather challenges the tea plants which tends to make them very aromatic and pungent.

The tea is very unique and has surprising depth for a Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong, a tea which has fallen out of favor for the more popular and smaller leaved Jin Jun Mei. This Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong has a depth that you won’t find other Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong’s or Jin Jun Mei’s.

meh. in to the swap box this one goes. Not a fan. just kinda don’t want to waste my time drinking an “adequate” cup of tea.

Hey, I thought you mentioned that this one can be resurrected with a longer steep? That’s no longer enough to redeem it?
