From Zen Tea

Dramatic mint notes tempered with fruity rooibos. The inclusion of cocoa pieces and organic peppermint give a refreshing palate cleansing finish. This tea blend is packed with natural goodness. Rooibos contains many essential and revitalizing minerals and is believed to be good for digestive system. Cacao beans enjoyed for millennia, are particularly rich in calcium. All natural peppermint has traditionally been prized for its ability to cure upset stomachs, among other things. The undeniably amazing taste and healthy qualities of this tea make it an excellent, calorie free, after-dinner digestif. This tea is also great as a summer time cool down drink.

This is another sample from Zach. Thank you!

I have been enjoying Adagio’s Cocomint Rooibos. I am not sure which of the two I prefer. I think the flavors of Adagio’s blend are a tad bit stronger. I might have to do a side by side comparison tomorrow night. This is good. I forgot to add some sugar tonight so the flavors do not pop, but it has been keeping me company while I finish up work tonight.

Easy drinking comfort tea. Great balance among the rooibos, mint and chocolate flavors, with the mint predominating. The mint is soft, though, and breathy-fresh. The chocolate is almost too quiet in the background, but good enough. Because I’m not a fan of “natural flavours” as an ingredient, it lost points for that.

ZOMG. ZO. M. G. Why haven’t I touched this until now? I bought it way back in January and just started it a few days ago. Worried it was going to be stale even though it was sealed, I was pleasantly surprised to bust open the pouch and find myself an ultra pepperminty stream of awesomeness dancing around me.

It pretty much tastes as good as it smells too. An undeniable York peppermint patty. The best news? (Almost) no rooibos base can be detected! The peppermint is easily the strongest note, followed by the chocolate (though I wish it were a touch stronger).

With light cream, this is a dream. Note to self: must order more next time I find myself reordering from Zen.

Most excellent work, Zen!

I have some of this! At my desk even! I shall have to put it on the list for tomorrow since you’ve reminded me.
