I bought a cup of this from a cafe downtown, thinking it would be smarter to try a cup first and then I could buy a tin later, instead of shelling out 10$ for something I wasn’t sure I’d like. I love coconut, and I’m a fan of chai teas, so I was expecting to love this. Sadly, it did not even come close to my expectations :( The chai spices weren’t bad (I’ve had worse) but I didn’t get much of a coconutty taste or smell from my cup.

I think it was just too weak for me, and it may have been better with two teabags instead of one. If I ever try it again, I’ll try adding a bit of sugar and maybe a splash of milk. Overall, it was drinkable but disappointing.

Dug this out of the back of my cabinet (it’s very old—I should likely throw it out but I figured I’d have some and see if it still tasted okay, and it does)… I remember really not liking this the first time I tried it, but it’s okay today. Not anything I would re-purchase. I would have thought I’d absolutely love this (coconut + chai… two of my favourite things in the whole world), but I just don’t love the flavours together in this blend. I don’t ever add milk or sugar to my teas, but I’ll try to remember to add them sometime in the future since most other reviewers seem to think that’s the best way to drink this.

Tonight is a very good night for this kind of tea. It’s rainy and quite gloomy. I normally stay away from black teas at night… But it just seems right. The scent kind of smacks you in the face. It’s definitely a mix of coconut and strong spice. I like it! I wish I had some milk so I could try a more creamy cup.. But right now I’m happy.

I like chai tea and I like teas with coconut flavor, so I was excited when I discovered this lovely combination! It is has a spicy warmth with a hint of sweet coconut. It taste good as it is or add a little sugar to it.

Side note: I found some yummy cookies called mini coconut crunch by Voortman (bought from Walmart) and they are the perfect compliment to this tea!! YUM!!

I love the way this tea smells, I just wish the coconut flavor would come through a lot more. It tastes yummy enough to finish the tin fairly quickly but I’m not sure I’d get this again.

This is very good. If I had bothered to read others’ reviews, I’m sure I could use the phrase “as others have noted” when pointing out that this won’t be the most peppered chai you’ll ever have. However, the coconut is mixed wonderfully with the chai and I found it hard to have a cup of something else until the cannister was empty.

I haven’t had the seemingly unbeatable Adagio’s Thai Chai yet, but as of this tasting it’s not as great a Chai as the Ineeka Ma-Chai. Its a better overall tea, though.

Yum! I drink this with a splash of cream and a teaspoon of honey, and it’s so lovely! Normally I’m not into coconut or chai because it’s always too heavy/bitter, but this was a gift from a friend and it’s delicious!

This tea has a nice smell to it, however after steeping it seems a little on the weak side as far as chai teas go. Its still a very good sipping tea with a little sweetener added. I can taste the cardamon and smell the coconut and it has a little pepper in it. I just love the tin that the tea comes in. I will reuse it and I may buy this tea again but for me I have had more spicy chai teas.

I love it. It smells so good. Tastes better. It warms you up as it goes down without being too strong.
