Our perfect mug now comes in crystal-clear glass, right down to its heat and aroma insulating lid. Like the original, it includes a stainless steel infuser that fits right inside, but unlike the original, this mug is totally transparent – so you can check on your loose tea or watch a blooming tea flower. The lid even doubles as a plate for the infuser. Dishwasher safe. Microwave safe, except metal infuser. (capacity: 12oz / 380ml)

I have used this teacup for a little over a month. Functionally it is great for tea, if a little on the dainty/delicate side for my giant hands. My only two complaints are the white DAVIDs TEA logo on the bottom of the glass coming off easily with repeated washings, and the design of the lid. I do not have the luxury of a dishwasher, and washing the inside of the lid and getting all the water stains is annoying compared to other simpler (flat) lids.

I have had this mug for 3 months now and the infuser broke. I was making tea today and went to empty the tea in the garbage when the basket broke from the brim of the infuser. I’ve never put it in the dishwasher and always wash it by hand so I was surprised that is only lasted 3 months. I have other infusing mugs that I’ve had for the same amount of time that work just as well and are still intact!

I LOVE THIS MUG. I got one for Valentine’s Day. The red one from the winter line. The filter is absolutely magical and surprisingly easy to clean. Literally the perfect mug. Not so big that my tea gets cold by the time I reach the bottom, and not so small that I can’t quench my thirst. Great.
