1163 Tasting Notes
I forgot to log that I finally ordered this tea after wanting to try it for so long! And boy, I am glad I ordered it because I just finished off my favourite Assam. This isn’t quite as delicious as my favourite but it’s pretty darn close. The tin is awesome with great graphics, but it is a little hard to pry open. It’s worth it I guess for the tea to stay fresh!
Anyway, I really enjoy this smooth, malty cuppa breakfast deliciousness. It will likely become a cupboard staple from now on!
I didn’t have high hopes with this tea because DT has been disappointing me a bit lately with their “must add stevia to everything”. But, this wS a pretty good cold brew. It did taste fairly naturally like pomegranate. The stevia and hibiscus were fairly tame (but still a little too present unfortunately).
The last remaining sample from my swap with Evol Ving Ness, thanks again, it was fun!
I enjoyed this fruity chai and I can see why it is called holiday blend. It would make a delicious latte during the Christmas season on a cold day wrapped up in a warm blanket. Maybe not my favourite during the spring/summer months but still good!
