555 Tasting Notes
Steepster is acting crazy tonight. Anyway i’ll try this again. I added an oolong to this one tonight to see how it would taste and i pretty much tasted just that oolong cuz it overpowered this one, it was a no name oolong(in a glass container marked Oolong) from my local heath food store, very good heavy roasted, rich oolong taste with nice sized dark twisted leaves, i’m not sure but i think it maybe a wuyi oolong there is no way of knowing the people at the store don’t know anything about their teas at all.
I like this one has a tobacco-like sweetness with caramel and maltyness and a little astringency, it’s very good it just makes think of tobacco.
This is a better review on my blog :)
Backlog* I tried this one the other day.
Good for drinking many times this one makes a dark thick tea with a smooth clean taste and delicate aroma, this one would be nice for those who want to try a nice Pu-erh but don’t like the strong earthy notes of Pu-erhs, This one is slightly earthy and wonderfully Clean tasting , I would recommend this one to beginners for sure.
Now you can buy just one cake instead of the whole stack :)
Hello Steepster :)
This is an Oolong that I could drink often, it is deliciously bold to me with even a little earthyness to it, The Aroma is wow so good in both the steeped leaves and the dry leaves you can almost taste it when you smell the dry leaves. Super good. read my review on the site here http://siam-tee.de/product_reviews_info.php?products_id=31&reviews_id=23
Short infusions in the gaiwan made several cups
Wonderful, Steeped in the gaiwan using short steeps of 30 seconds up to 1 minute this one brews up a pale yellow color with a smooth almost buttery flavors to me, this is also very nice to feel in the mouth velvety smooth. The steeped leaves have a nice floral aroma that is absent in the liquor. It leaves a pleasant taste lingering in my mouth like a sweet aftertaste very nice.
