1 Tasting Note

It was a personal trip to Taiwan in April 2010. I’d decided to travel up to the Alishan (Mountain), not for the tea initially, more like for the scenic. Half way up, you can see lots of tea plantation. I’d entered one of the tea shop next to these tea plantation, which has walls filled with many awards and plaques. It’s actually a small tea factory. The owner treated me to a freshly brewed Alishan Tea, and I was in love. The dried tea leaves were curled in a round shape, has a dark green colour. After steeping, the tea leaves uncurled and show the unbroken full leaves. Fresh and fragrance aroma and a nice bitter sweet aftertaste. I’d gotten 3 cans then, and we continue our tea sipping session.
