I ended up with this because the waiter had no idea what he was doing. I don’t usually like flavoured green teas, but this was surprisingly yummy. Tropical, but not overwhelmingly fruity or flowery. It still tasted like tea (gasp)! I will definitely drink this again.

I had this a while ago at a restaurant. Yummy, but I had to add sugar.

Drinking this again this morning, and trying to find words to describe it. It’s not like any of the Japanese green teas I’ve had. It’s certainly not like the junk you find in generic “green tea” bags. It’s light, a little sweet, subtle. A little creamy, perhaps. Not grassy or toasty at all.

I picked this one up at the recommendation of one of the ladies who works at David’s Tea and am BLOWN AWAY! I’ve never had a Korean tea that I can remember, and I’m really, really in love with this one. The taste is just amazing! This may be my favourite green tea of all time.

I loooooove oooooolongs, and this was my first (a couple of years ago). Now that I’ve tried others, I love it even more. Floral, sweet, amazing. <3 It holds up well to multiple steepings.

Strong like a China black. The recommended steeping time is 4-6 minutes, but that’s way too strong for me. Good for breakfast. I’m not in love with it, though.

Had this at lunch time today while on the run. I definitely like it better in this “full leaf” incarnation than the previous bagged variety. Nicer, fuller flavour. Richer and more enjoyable. I could go for a cup right now, come to think of it.

I thought this was black chai when I picked it up, but realised too late that it’s herbal! Ah well … it smells quite rich and decadent. I think I like it more than the Four O’Clock Chocolate Spice, which has similar ingredients. I would love to try it with some vanilla soy milk, as I have a feeling that would make it absolutely delicious. I don’t know if regular milk would work in this, but I can never bring myself to add cow’s milk to herbal tea. It just seems wrong to me. ;) A touch of sweetener of some kind would probably go very well, too.

Gorgeous! The leaves are obviously fresh, as they’re that lovely deep emerald green colour you only find with really fresh green tea. It also tastes amazing – as only fresh green tea can. A little bit sweet, a little bit creamy even, and re-steepable. Delicious.

I decided to try out something fruity, and it’s delicious! I had the first steeping with a slice of peach cake, and I’m in heaven. I’m sure this would be delicious iced, and I don’t even like iced tea.

I’m at the point where my family, friends and coworkers ask me for tea advice. It’s awesome, but I still feel as though I’m just getting started.

I love tea, have a small ball-joint doll collection, am fascinated by Japanese culture and faerie folklore, and wish I could travel much more often. I have two daughters, a husband, and three cats. I wish I had more time for all the things I want to learn and do.

I use Steepster to log each tea I try only once, so I may not update that often, but I drink several kinds of tea several times daily!
