Daniel is extremely knowledgeable about Chinese tea and tea ware, and is super friendly too. I have been going to his store for about 4 years now, and learn something new every time I go. Daniel is always happy to make a tea for you to try before you decide to buy it or not (he doesn’t pressure you into buying the tea either). This is my favorite source for Chinese teas, particularly puerh and oolong.
On top of having some of the best tea around, Daniel is also a great teacher. I learned about the Chinese “gong-fu cha” style of making tea from Daniel the first time I went to his store, and have seen him explain it to countless other people over the years. He also has brochures to guide you though your first few times making gong-fu cha, since it can be a little overwhelming at first.
To wrap it all up, I cannot recommend Daniel’s store enough.
