My first Pu’erh! I thought this type of tea would make my stomach turn like other black teas do but the person who helped me at Davids convinced me my tummy would be happy. He was also nice and brewed me a small sample to make sure I’d be ok drinking it. Brewing it again on my own and I can say I’m in love. So I’m a sucker for blood orange but this tea is very light and I enjoy the licorice root. It’s not a secret though that I do like tart teas with a hint of sweetness so this hits all the notes for me.

It has some hibiscus in it so fair warning, but i don’t taste it as much as I do in other teas and I like hibiscus. I just get a light blood orange with a hint of tartness.
