3 Tasting Notes
The black tea that changed my mind about what a black tea could be. Intoxicating, layered with flavour, and yet not overpowering. I finished my first tin of this two years ago, and recently bought another after a visit to London. While it no longer blows me away, I am still very fond of this tea.

I brewed this gong-fu style, but also have also enjoyed it in a western-style brew with a lower leaf/water ratio. Full-bodied, with notes of chocolate, malt, and ripe fruits (plum/prunes?). It has a slight astringency that cuts through the weighty flavour. Delicious and very affordable tea.
