While I wouldn’t call this one phenomenal, it is a good solid tea and quite tasty. It has a strong note of malt and a weaker note of chocolate in the background. At the price just over $15 it is a good deal. So far I have liked the teas I have gotten from this company. This tea was better than expected.

I brewed this one time in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 4 cones and 200 degree water for 3 minutes.

This tea was very cheap. So I wasn’t expecting very much from it. This is my second time drinking it. While it is no way spectacular it really isn’t bad. There is a prominent note of malt. A slightly lesser note of chocolate. And there is a bit, very minor, of a negative note, not sure how to describe it. Regardless, it’s good enough to drink when I need a quick cup in the morning.

Bought this as part of the Aliexpress 11/11 sale. It was pretty cheap so I wasn’t expecting much. But I am happy to report it is better than expected. There is little bitterness to this tea. It has notes of malt and chocolate in there. It will definitely get finished and I would definitely buy it again.

That company has some really good teas at great prices. I tried out a different tea vendor (with only one tea) during the sale but was extremely disappointed. It was so bad I threw it all out.

I’ve had this tea for awhile but never left a review on it. Had it only in sample size .

Finished off the last of it yesterday but don’t think I will buy this tea. It’s good but not the best Fujian black I’ve had. It seems it was lacking in freshness. Perhaps because of how it was packaged (in little clear plastic baggies). Of course it was only sample size and the whole idea of samples is to try them right away and not let them sit around forever!

So brewed it up Western style. Used the water from the work water cooler which is probably anywhere from 195F – 205F. Could even be less than 195F but it seems pretty hot. I got chocolate notes and some malt. I love the chocolate & malt but this just wasn’t up to par. I’ve had much better blacks.

A pleasant enough cup but nothing to get excited about.
