Here’s Hoping Traveling Teabox – Round #5 – Tea #10
Another unique blend! The lemon really takes over with this one, with annoying hibiscus in the background diminishing any other flavors that might be in the cup. There should be cocoa, vanilla, raspberry, lychee, elderberries, sumac(?). But those are missing. The lemon is nice but the hibiscus shouldn’t be there. I also can’t taste the splenda in this. There are also so many ingredients that not much black tea is in the cup, resulting in a very light brew.
Here’s Hoping Traveling Teabox – Round #5 – Tea #8
A headache means I dove in the teabox for a minty blend. Found this one right away and it’s delicious. Plenty of smooth mint with hints of chocolate. The yogurt pieces really make it even smoother. The apple mentioned in the description seems a little weird but I don’t taste much apple. I always love a chocolate mint herbal and this is a perfect example of the type. Though I wouldn’t protest more chocolate. I’m not sure if this company makes their own teas though. The description of the toffee tea sounds very much like the one from the angry tea company. So does the pumpkin rooibos.
Here’s Hoping Traveling Teabox – Round #5 – Tea #6
Another winner from the teabox. A lovely flavored black tea that is pure sweet toffee and dessert goodness. The resulting brew is a medium brown. Both steeps full of flavor! I haven’t heard of this Etsy shop before, and this is EXACTLY why I love teaboxes. To find tea shops like these. I hope I find the eggnog blend in the teabox… I’d really like to try more of their blends. Thank you to whomever included this one! Here is the link: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheBeesTeas?page=1
All six teas have been winners from the teabox so far!
Oh how I enjoyed this tea. In no time at all I went thru the sample 1 oz that I bought. Delicious iced. Delicious hot. Even cold brewed it and the lemon flavors just popped. When I cold brewed this, it tasted almost like a raspberry lemonade. When I brewed it hot, it came out more like the name of the tea. Very happy with this one. Hoping to be able to re-order more soon but I took the dive and bought a mini van yesterday. (Between my boyfriend and I we have 4 kids) So my tea budget may have to be re-worked since now I have a car payment. Haven’t had one of those in about 10 years!
Anywho. . . Here are the rest of my ramblings. . .Happy Tuesday all!!
