This Sencha has an unusual taste of garlic on the first two minute steep. Subsequent steepings are fine.
The colour of the brewed tea is bright yellow, which is great.
I have experienced a pin point like location of flavour on my tongue. Something which only happens with very fine tea.
I’m sure the tea is from Japan.
I just think the off flavour might be due to an unsusl umami taste, or perhaps to Sencha’s crisp taste.
