Tea magical complexity. How do you feel after drinking it?

I wonder if it’s just me or in general. I love green tea but it works a bit different for me. I find it a nice tonic after a fatty, heavy meal. It makes me feel light, refreshed, content and collected. Black tea on the other hand goes perfect with desserts. The latter usually gives me a kick but I wouldn’t say it’s just because of caffeine. I believe that tea is far more complex than just a caffeine drink. Anyways, If I am occupied with many things on my mind green tea relaxes me, gives me clear focus, grounds me, helps me with organization. At the same time black tea would make my mind scattered. I prefer black tea in the afternoon after work. Then, it makes me relaxed. What about you? Do you have similar experiences? Please share.
