Sending tea from Canada to the U.S.
I need to send two packages of tea to the U.S. and am encountering major problems. Neither Chit Chats nor Stallion will accept it, and I’m not sure about Canada Post. I have a phone appointment with a FedEx regulatory specialist on Wednesday, but I was hoping to get some advice before then.
I knew many Canadian tea companies had stopped shipping to the States, but I thought it was because they didn’t have the capacity to collect tariffs. Now I’m wondering if it’s because the new regulations prevent them from sending it at all.
If anyone in Canada has sent tea to the States since August 29 or if any American has received tea since then, how did you do it?
I’ve ordered from Murchie’s, so there are definitely some companies still doing it. It was shipped via FedEx.

Yes, I placed the order on October 20th. It got to me very quickly, within 3-4 days!
That sounds promising. I’ve reached out to them to ask about the customs/clearance forms. Hopefully they’ll generously share their secrets.
