Beer-Enhancing Tea Sachets?
Has anyone tried the Tea Lager beer enhancing tea sachets by Capital Teas? I’m not much of a beer person, but this is in the so-weird-I’ve-got-to-try-it category… Capital Teas recommends certain pairings, too. I’d go for the Stella Artois + Cream Earl Grey Black or Blue Moon + Cherry Blossom Rose Organic.

Ughhh why, what a waste of tea and what a waste of beer! Granted none of the beers they suggest are really too expensive, I just can’t imagine drinking something I want to mess with like that.
I can understand brewing a beer with tea but not brewing tea in beer.
Good thing is this really just looks like a gimmick so I don’t see why you couldn’t use sachets you already have or throw some tea in a t-sac and go that route.
I’m really curious about tea brewed in beer, if I had more space I’d love to try brewing myself. I saw a really gorgeous beer brewed with rooibos a couple weeks ago. But I can’t imagine it does much of anything or combines very well with flavors if it’s just added for five minutes right before you drink.

I think it would be fun to bring to bar as a conversation starter!I might just find another tea-lover in the room. But, yeah, probably most people would just think I was strange. My hope is that it would make beer MORE tolerable, since I think beer is merely “meh” right now. Of course, I thought that about tea once, too…
I just drank powdered fruit punch gatorade with powdered goat milk last night. It wasn’t bad. In other words… I’m down for trying wacky drinks!
True! Now I want a matcha latte. That will have to be my next cup this morning!
I had some fresh goat milk the other day from a friend’s goat and it was the most creamy rich milk I have ever had! It didn’t taste goaty at all!
I actually tried two of these at the tea festival and they weren’t bad. I had the Stella & Cream Earl Grey Black and Blue Moon & Harbor Breeze. It wasn’t stunning, but it was tasty. The tea flavor made the beer more interesting/gave it layers. The Harbor Breeze also added some sweetness. It really helped that the beers were very light. I have trouble imagining that this could work with a heavier beer.
