Help me find my favorite tea!

Last summer I was in Budapest for a vacation. The city is gorgeous! I went into a tea shop in the West End Mall, called Darlington Teabolt, where I bought a tea called Bailey’s, which has very quickly become my favorite dessert tea.

Now my problem is this: this vendor does not have any online ordering, and I am quickly running out of my favorite tea. I know that a lot of vendors don’t blend their own tea and only resell. So I was really hoping that was the case here, and that I could maybe find this tea at another online shop. But it seems that there is none to be found. I guess they do blend their own tea.

This is the tea: http://www.tea-bolt.hu/teakinalat/fekete/izesitett-fekete-teak/baileys/
(you need to run the Google translate on it – cause it’s not in English).

Does anyone have any idea, short of going back to Budapest, where I could get some tea like this?

Ahhh….I wish I had known I would love it so much, I would have ordered a pound :)

Maybe they don’t sell online, but if you contact the shop and pay shipping I bet they would send you some. Most stores will do that.

Yes, you may be right. I will try to contact them. I’m not sure how I would pay for the tea and shipping, but perhaps they will be nice and try to find a solution.

I think trying to blend it yourself would be cheaper… most of the ingredients are easy to come by… I’d give it a try.. if not, you could contact the shopowner, but there maybe customs issues since you are in Israel …

I wouldn’t even know where to begin trying to blend it myself. It says black tea, but doesn’t specify which type. Nor for the white or oolong. Besides, I have 2 left hands :)

Wouldn’t think so since both are associated with the European Union.

Actually Israel is not in European Union. However, I, like most tea addicts here on Steepster, order lots of tea. Most of it comes from the U.S. and some from Europe, and as long as each individual package is under $75, there is no problem with customs.

No, I think my only problem is getting them to sell me some tea, somehow :)

I saw “associate country” when I looked it up, but you would know better than me!
