Starbucks/teavana rewards

Recently reached GOLD status on my starbucks rewards so that every 12 purchases I get a free drink. OR, what I thought was a free drink! In the email it said I could also use it for 1oz of tea at Teavana! I went today and got 1oz of the Golden Dragon which would have cost me $15!!! Pays to use their rewards ;)

Wasn’t sure if everyone knew this, so thought I’d let you know.

I could never figure out how to sign up for their rewards program. Then again, I only visit a Starbucks once in a blue moon it seems, so maybe not exactly worth my while. Lol.

The part I hate is that you must use a gift card for your purchase. It doesn’t matte how much you spend it is the number of times you visit.

So the rewards are all just logged on one gift card that you use/refill multiple times? Hell. I had a giftcard I got awhile back that I used and dunno what I did with it. Probly tossed it. /headdesk/ XD

You create an account on Starbucks Rewards. You can log all your gift cards under that one account. To earn rewards you have to log the card on your account first.
I hate having to use a gift card and wish they would change it to one like Davids.

I knew vaguely that you could use your rewards but I’ve never done it myself.
That’s awesome though!! :D

I’ve done this a couple of times successfully. Though, sometimes the Teavana employees don’t fully understand how to use the reward instead of charging your card, so just double check your account balance afterward!

Yep, they couldn’t get it to work for my birthday oz and now again it wouldn’t work. Oh well, they still gave it to me.
