37 Tasting Notes
Best Decaf Ever! Been looking for a good decaf earl grey and I found it. The taste is better than some non-decaf earls. Smooth tea base, but enough punch to be passable. Moderate level of quality bergamot oil. I’m so happy to have found a good decaf!
Preparation
I found the orange and grapefruit flavors to be off, an over or underripe off citrus flavor. But I have done my best to redeem it by adding lots of lemongrass (from the Korean store, better than what’s in most tea blends). I find it somewhat drinkable now – good for when you feel like you’re getting a cold.
Hard to find a tea with a strong, but not fake vanilla taste. This is it! At least, for an herbal tea. Great for unwinding. One ingredient listed is “lime flower”, which is also known as linden flower. The overall taste is caramelly, which is nice. I don’t LOVE chamomile, and you really can barely taste it in this.
Preparation
I steep this longer and hotter than it says to. People always say that makes green tea bitter. For one thing, I’m kind of into bitter, but in any case it doesn’t make this bitter at all. THIS IS THE BEST TEA IN THE WORLD. It is basically a bergamot delivery vehicle, which is exactly what I wanted, because I am a bergamot junkie. The best part is that you can steep it 3 times and the flavor is good, but different each time. It needs no sweetener; the natural sweetness of the bergamot is in there. If you like bergamot and green oolongs, you will be in heaven.
