Excellent selection of various styles of loose leaf tea. The caveat though, was talking tea, with the owner Phil. I’ve met a few Tea shop owners who thought they knew about all the teas they sold, but they all take a back seat to Phil. I could have talked to him for hours, his knowledge was so extensive. I will be going back again.

Love Savvy Tea! A huge selection of teas to choose from, including unusual teas and excellent high quality teas. The owners are very knowledgeable and always enthusiastic to answer questions and share tea knowledge. I especially like their iced teas in the summer and that they have “medicine chest” teas to help ease you through minor illnesses. Plus the green tea smoothie is fabulous!

My husband and I love Savvy Tea. The owners are very knowledgeable about loose leaf tea as they have cultivated relationships with various tea growers around the world. There are unique varieties of tea and you can get them iced or hot. They also carry tea infusers, lovely tea pots, and you can go there for a tea tasting on a Saturday afternoon or take part in one of their afternoon high teas offsite at the Mercy Center in Madison, Connecticut. I highly recommend Savvy Tea. You will be glad you stopped by!
