From abbey tea

This is an incredibly fantastic, rare, high quality ripe Pu erh tea brick from an ancient tea forest on the famous BuLang mountain. The whole leaves are hand-picked from old arbour trees at altitudes of between 1500 – 1700 metres.

Grown at such high altitudes means that the trees grow slower, thus developing complex delicious flavours. After picking, the leaves are dried naturally, then fermented and aged before being traditionally pressed into the characteristic “Chocolate Bar” shape of 12 pieces, in a mold.

The resulting tea is an ultra smoth, ripe Pu erh with a creamy aged taste and are packed full of healthy antioxidants and catechins.
