Creamy and sweet, especially after an extra long steep. Loved this one for work … even if the second steep wasn’t my favorite.

We’re pretty strict about certain holiday traditions. Especially the delicious ones. So it should come as no surprise that we insist on sipping eggnog at every festive occasion. All things considered, it’s almost crazy that it took us thing long to find the perfect eggnog tea. But trust us, this rich and creamy rooibos blend was definitely worth the wait. With white chocolate, mini meringues and a hint of nutmeg, it’s a brand new tradition we can’t believe we ever went without.

Love the idea. Love warming teas in general sexy and spicy with a jolt of nostalgia..that’s the promise anyways.
Smells sweet and like melted chocolate on pastry.
Unfortunately this was a disappointment tastes like watered down sweet bark. Simply the best way to explain it.
There is no spiciness. Just woodsy with a sweet aftertaste. Don’t hate it but it isn’t anything to write home about. Not flavorful like I had imagined.
Flavors: Chocolate, Pastries, Sugar, Sweet
This was definitely an interesting tea. I normally don’t like any eggnog, so I wasn’t so sure when I got a sample of this tea. But I tried it anyway and I have to say it is interesting. Takes some getting used to, but now that I’ve had a cup, I’m used to the taste and don’t mind the tea at all. Surprising.
Flavors: Eggnog, Nutmeg, Sweet
Meant to have this around X-Mas, but it got kinda misplaced. Well, it’s still winter. I like the white chocolate chips. It smells creamy, with spices. Nutmeg comes out more in the flavour. Otherwise, it has a cream-like taste. Okay, but it might be better cold.
Flavors: Cream, Creamy, Nutmeg, Spices, White Chocolate
I’m an eggnog lover. This tea is pretty good. Not fantastic, but pleasant and craveable. The dry leaf would have you believe it’s spicy and grassy – but it’s less so once brewed up. What I’ll do is let it steep strong a good 5 minutes and then make a latte with it – with actual hot eggnog, and probably a sprinkle of extra nutmeg or cinnamon. De-licious.
Flavors: Apple, Candy, Eggnog, Herbs, Musty, Nutmeg, Smoke, White Chocolate
This tea smells AMAZING!
It’s also surprisingly creamy as much as it can be without having any milk added to it. It has a sweet taste to it as well as some sort of warmth to it… nutmeg? The flavour of the tea is very subtle, not strong at all. Overall, I think I like the smell of it a lot more than the taste.
I didn’t mind this one which is kind of surprising because I don’t normally like green rooibos too much. It was nutmeg and some creaminess but I’m not sure I would say eggnog. It doesn’t have a thick mouthfeel.
I learned from my mistake last time not to brew this in a tea bag because all of the meringue gets trapped in there.
Two things about tea joy.
My enjoyment of any rooibos or honeybush tea has gone up exponentially since I discovered steeping it at a lower temperature. So, boil the water, add a couple of spoonfuls of cold water, and then steep your tea. This trick saves you from the sour wood thing that happens when you use boiling water.
How much I like this tea depends on how many meringue or white chocolate bits I have in have in the spoonful I brew. More white hats, more better. This particular steeping had more hats, so better. Fewer white hats and it tastes like thin nutmeg-flavoured rooibos with a teeny bit of sweetness.
I am enjoying this cup, but it is not love.
Flavors: Creamy, Nutmeg
LOVE this tea. It’s a great holiday fave. If you haven’t gotten the chance to already, I recommend trying DT’s version of the Eggnog latte WITH eggnog. O M G. It’s divine. Having it in latte form with regular milk is just as good too, but having real eggnog in it, is great as well. Don’t forget the cinnamon on top ;)
