Completely organic, Fleurs + Cacao is floral, aromatic and sensuous. It’s the perfect brew for a cozy, romantic evening when the wind is howling at the door. It also goes smashingly well with a steamy Victorian-era romance novel!

A base of organic green and white jasmine teas (including the sought-after, luxurious Jasmine Pearl) is blended with rose petals, roasted cacao nibs, goji berries and ravishing organic vanilla from the south of India. The resulting steep is a lovely golden color with the scent of flowers and chocolate…

To brew a gorgeous cup of Fleurs + Cacao: Bring 8 ounces of water to the point just below a simmer, pour over 2 teaspoons of loose tea blend, steep no longer than 3 minutes, strain and sip. Loose green teas are marvelous when steeped again, giving you a different, more delicate and subtle liqueur to explore.

This is one of my absolute favourite teas! It’s a heavenly blend that’s handmade from a small shop on Etsy, and is chock full of delicious ingredients, as can be seen in the picture.

Right away when you sip it you taste the sweet floral of the jasmine green tea, immediately followed by the richness of the vanilla bean and cocoa nibs. This is how chocolate should taste in tea (in my opinion) – not an artificial chocolate flavour, or chocolate chunks that leave an oil slick on the top of the water when they melt – but a nice cocoa flavour that tastes like the real bean. Definitely highly recommend if you’re a fan of floral, or if you’re looking for a tea with chocolate that actually tastes like it!
