I received a sample of this with a gluten free box I ordered a while ago. It stands to reason that mint is gluten free, but anyway I digress.

This comes in a pyramid sachet and is 100% peppermint. It’s difficult to rate a thing like that, I mean you either like mint or you don’t. I enjoy it after meal times. I would say that I slightly prefer the peppermint tisanes I’ve tried that grow in the Pacific Northwest – both Silk Road teas and Steven Smith have nice ones. This is a nice strong mint though and tastes nice & fresh.

p.s. also resteeps well

This tea screams mint, both in scent and flavor. It tingles like mint, feels like mint and tastes like it too. I am throughly enjoying it because I love mint!!! I think this has spearmint in it which I normally don’t like, but I don’t mind it when it is combined with peppermint like in this tea. Also heres to hoping that Lupicia’s newsletter is correct and mint cools you down because it hit a high of 90 today and is supposed to do the same tomorrow – yay NJ – haha

Nevermind no spearmint, just peppermint. Explains why I love it! Also I forgot to rate it whoops.

Backlog:

A very refreshing mint tisane. Minty, crisp, minty, flavorful … minty. Did I mention it was minty?

A very fresh and exhilarating cup. Here’s my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2013/04/19/southern-mint-herbal-tea-from-revolution-tea/

Well, my headache came back, and I was reading that mint tea can cure headaches (it’s even in the description on here). Don’t get me wrong, I popped an ibuprofen first, but I’m finding what is essentially a plain mint tea to be very calming right now. I don’t think there’s anything special about this at all- but sometimes that’s what I’m in the mood for. Mint tea, unlike my previous teas of the day, is a great antidote to the hot, humid weather. It cools my mouth and body, despite being hot.

I feel the stress of the day and it is only 7AM. Stress calls for me to try this tea. I purchased a sample box of 5 teas from Revolution yesterday and after getting them home and looking at them this morninging find them packaged very cute.
I am loving the mint smell of this tea. Going to go destress and drink my tea.

I just got home from a long day. I find this tea very relaxing and decided I wanted to sit and relax with another cup of this tea. I will keep this tea handy for a bedtime cup of tea. Ohhhh yessss…Today was not as bad I thought it might be (Yeah!) LoL…..

A refreshing mint tea, with hints of spearmint. I find it interesting that this is called “Southern Mint” since in the south they add sweetener to mint teas and I don’t think this one would be as good with sweetener mixed in.
