rocky’s matcha Organic Kogacha Blend Matcha is an organic, ceremonial grade blend comprised of first-flush leaves of three carefully harvested cultivars: Yabukita, Okumidori, and Saemidori. This unique blend has been produced in partnership with fourth-generation tea producers Kogacha Gyo—a family-ran farm based in Yame, Japan. Kogacha features a lighter flavor profile with a subtle chocolate-like sweetness and hints of nori and umami.
Due to its intensive cultivation and subsequent certification process, organic matcha is typically more difficult to source. But its pure taste cannot be replicated—making it an ideal blend for enthusiasts to enjoy alone or paired with a preferred milk.
