From Simpson & Vail

An enchanting Oolong experience! Your taste buds will savor the mild, mellow, well-balanced flavors of this organic tea, with its peach/apricot undertones. The black/green, long, curled, tippy leaves brew into olive green leaves with a light amber cup.

I really thought I logged this one…Oops!

Well, here we go!

I love how this one smells! It’s sweet wood – more sweet than wood. Not dirty wood either…not really earthy, per say, but a nice sweetness! There is a savoriness to it, too!

The flavor is lovely as well! Somewhat brothy, a little chewy, slightly vegetal – almost more on the gentle herbal side – like a sweet basil, perhaps – but just a hint!

It’s VERY yummy! A delightful Oolong! YUM!

This was the tea that made me realize I should really taste my tea before I sweeten it. I cold brewed this and took it to class yesterday. This is not a tea you should sweeten. Trust me. It’s got a savoryness to it that really clashes with any added sweetener. As such it wasn’t drinkable. Since I ruined it I’m not going rate it. It’s a shame, since a savory type tea might have been interesting.
