“This isn’t a bad tea, but not an exciting one either. The body reminds me a lot of premium tianxia from the same vendor, but this lacks the citrusy edge that I really enjoy from the tianxia. As...” Read full tasting note

Description

This is a lovely Changtai cake that is certified organic by the Chinese government. The material used for this cake was from Jinggu. This tea has a lovely sweet aroma and brews up nice and sweet in the cup as well! There is a little bitterness which comes back as huigan, as well as actual sweetness on the palate that lasts for a long time. The flavor is mild, sweet and pleasant and also longlasting. This is a great pu erh and would make a great daily drinker!

This cake has been through conservative Guangdong dry storage: no mustiness here, but the aging has been just right and has made this tea smooth, sweet and easy on the tummy, while preserving some of the origin character from the raw material used.
