From Tealyra

Sweet n’ Sour Cherry tea features the bold and delicious flavor of cherry season. A classic favorite summer fruit and needless to say- this is the best guilt-free juicy way to enjoy it. Our caffeine-free fruit tea has a tart hibiscus base, known for numerous health benefits, but especially for its hydration ability- making it an excellent alternative to sports drinks.

We have blended real sour cherries with pomegranate, over a base of hibiscus, with cardamom and a touch of almond for the roundness of flavor. At first sip the full cherry favor pairs well with the mild zing of hibiscus, and both fade out to a rich and sweet cardamom-scented fruit sensation. Discover the full flavor of cherry tea with our Sweet n’ Sour Cherry fruit tea- enjoy hot or iced.

This is a Dethlefsen & Balk sourced blend, and I’m uncertain if I’ve had it elsewhere, but I’m really enjoying it. I tried it warm and thought it was fine (I liked the hibiscus/cardamon combination) but it shines more as a coldbrew. It has a nice rich cherry flavor, in the vein of Kool-Aid/Popsicle and lacking any weird medicinal notes. The hibiscus is adding a lot of thick fruit punch notes. That little pop of cardamom in the background is nice even cold. Very quenching. It’s a nice enough cherry-leaning hibiscus fruit tea.
