drank Jasmine Green by Mr. P's Teas

This was a free sample that I received earlier this year. The weather is cooler in the morning, so I’ve been pulling out the kettle more. Another sign that summer days are dwindling. After my first sample from this company, I decided it would be best to use it in one go. Sample size appears to be between 1-2tsp. Brought the tea up to temp and steeped longer than I normally would for a green. The package recommended 4-6 minutes; I believe I steeped 3 min.
The jasmine scent and flavor is strong. It’s quite a floral flavored tea. The floral flavor seemed to weaken as I sipped and wasn’t so strong when I poured my second cup.
I also discovered that it is hard to focus on a mug of tea with kids educating you about space and rockets.

Flavors: Floral, Jasmine

Preparation
175 °F / 79 °C 3 min, 45 sec 2 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

drank Darjeeling by Mr. P's Teas

I received a free sample from Mr. P’s. The sample contains approx 2 tsp of leaves. I used 1 tsp in about 6 oz of boiling water. Steeped for a little over 7 minutes.

It has a smooth taste with no bitterness. There is a full, rich earthiness to it with a hint of caramel(?) or coconut (?). Pretty sure I taste coconut. I’m going to need another cup of this to re-assess.

Flavors: Caramel, Coconut, Earthy

Preparation
Boiling 7 min, 15 sec 1 tsp 6 OZ / 177 ML

Coconut in Darjeeling? Something seems wrong.

I agree. Sadly, we had water issues due to road construction this week and didn’t realize it until after the 2nd mug was made. It was a bit…. rusty and murky the 2nd tasting.
