French Earl Grey is one of the best teas I have tasted. It is a multi-brew tea, so really economical, and is absolutely divine iced.

This is such a strong, full flavoured tea that it can be easily over-brewed, so I find it best to err on the side of caution and under-brew – the label recommends a three minute steep, I tend to aim for about 2 minutes. Anything more than 3 and the tea becomes bitter.

I like this at either end of the day – either first thing in the morning or last thing at night. The bergamot fragrance goes really well with the rooibos taste – better than black tea i sometimes think!

It brews really quickly – gets good colour in under 2 min. I like to drink it with a small teaspoon of honey and milk

Vanilla Ginger Black Tea from The Tea Party

Slightly sweet with a bit of warmness from the ginger, but not overpowering.
Not very strong as a black tea. I put an extra teaspoon in “for the pot” and brew for slightly longer than the recommended 3 minutes – prolly about 3.5-4min.

It pays to rinse this tea thoroughly with a pot of warm water before actually pouring the hot water in to the pot for steeping.

Then leave the tea to steep for about 2-3 minutes and pour. Don’t drink it too often or you will go off the flavour quickly but it’s nice every now and then.
