Is your Dashboard a little wonky?
Just wondered if anyone else has had some unusual behaviour on their dashboard. Mine has been telling me I have three notices for a day or two now, despite there being nothing new. I’ve tried logging out, different computers and different browsers. It’s not a big deal, but driving me nuts! Anyone else having a similar issue?
My notices have been going away as usual. Have you tried clearing you cache files for Steepster maybe?
I had this issue a while ago. The problem with mine was that I hadn’t checked it in a while and so had loads of notifications, and they sort of spilled over into the next page, so I had to click ‘see more’ and it let me view them, but I had a couple that just wouldn’t load so I just left them. It drove me crazy, but they went away after a few months. I hope this helps.
Yes, I’ve been having the same problem. I notified the Powers That Be and was told that it’s a known issue. The OCD part of me goes a little crazy when it says I have 17 notifications even though none of them are new and I CAN’T GET RID OF THEM. Arghhhh.
I had this exact same issue and couldn’t figure it out for days. I kept thoroughly checking my notices but never saw anything still in bold. Then one day, there they were! The five notices the dashboard kept telling me were unread were there. It was so strange. I’d say, just do a very thorough, line by line investigation of your notices. Make sure to check multiple pages too, as Alana237 mentioned. They must be hiding somewhere!
I feel very VERY dim right now. Thanks, all! There were in fact three notices that I had somehow missed. It took 8 or 9 “See More”s to find them, but now they are found and leaving me alone!! I have no idea how I could have looked at the notices that many times and not had them disappear, but now they are gone.
