Cold Brewing Chai?

It’s been hotter than blazes (and my AC broke), but I still NEED my chai. I know I could just steep it then chill it… but it’s too hot to run the microwave and have a hot cup in the house much less use the stove. I know it won’t do me any good today, and even though I’m still not sold on the cold brew method, I was wondering, could I cold brew chai in milk? Then all I’d have to do tomorrow would be add ice, pop in a blender and VOILA!

I have no idea if it’ll work, but it does sound like an interesting experiment. I’ll be watching this thread for sure!

I just know preping the chai even though I was going to serve it iced and blended was miserable.

Ok so I just put some chai in milk in the fridge… how long should I leave it there? 8 hrs like a lot of cold brew methods? An hr like some tea bags I have from Den’s Tea calls for?
