Please educate on pu-erh

Well I love tea. I am quite familiar with most teas except pu-erh tea. I understand some basics about it but have yet to try it. What kind of flavors does one get from these teas? What would be a good starting point?

Jeremy- a lot of info you and Hblamo are looking for is already here:) Just do a discussion topic search for Pu Erh. If either of you would like, I can also give you a quick overview, just send me a PM.

Search > Find > Read > Get tired of reading/searching > PM you:)

Haha, that’s the way I see my night/early morning going.

LOL You can always read my message (which will basically cover types, prep, and where to buy cheap) then go to the threads for MUCH more experienced advice- especially when it comes to seasoning your yi xing.

I am trying to send a pm but it will only let me select from 5 members. Wonder what is going on there.
