326 Tasting Notes
I absolutely love peppermint flavor, and this doesn’t disappoint. How pepperminty is it? Incredibly pepperminty!
Sometimes I throw a little bit of this into other herbal/rooibos teas I have.
This is one of the “teas” I drink at night, because of course its caffeine free.
Preparation
This is one of my husband’s favorite teas. The vanilla and grenadine give this a unique flavor. I don’t always taste vanilla in some tea blends, but it definitely comes out in this one. The tea leaves, liquor smell, and the taste all contain a hint of vanilla.
It’s a good flavored black tea that won’t surprise you with any weird flavors. If you want to serve tea to some friends who may or may not like it, this one is a safe bet.
Preparation
When you open up the tea canister (or bag), the fragrant spices jump at you. The flavors really come out when you brew it as well. It’s not a black tea with mind flavoring, the cinnamon and nutmeg really come out.
I’d recommend a fine mesh infuser or tea bags, because there are small bits of spice that can sneak out.
Preparation
Now that it’s starting to get cooler, I’ve been drinking a lot of this tea. It smells like a campfire. Which brings back good memories and adds a lot of unique flavor to this tea.
Speaking of flavor, because of the strong smoky flavor, you either love it or hate it.
Edit: Looking back on this tea, it’s not one of my favourite LS.
Preparation
My husband really liked how the canister of this smelled, so we bought a bag. I’m not really crazy about any teas with sugar already added. If the tea needs sugar, I’d rather just add it in later.
We mostly drink this iced. When you brew it hot it’s more like hot cider with added fruity flavor. I can’t say that the flavor is bad, it’s just not something I go crazy for. It’s not an awful tea, but I’m not impressed enough to buy another bag.
Preparation
Lately this has been my favorite (flavored) black tea to drink. The smell isn’t overpowering, and neither is the flavor once you brew it.
It goes down really smooth, none of the flavors will knock your socks off. The vanilla and bourbon work really well together, even though the bourbon flavoring is pretty subtle.
