drank Apple Pie Keemun by 52teas
4843 tasting notes

Backlog:

Really tasty. I could smell the apple pie as soon as I opened the pouch, and my mouth starts watering whenever I open this one (I’ve had it a few times since my original tasting note/review of this tea, found here: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/04/29/apple-pie-keemun-52teas/ )

I like the way the smokiness of the keemun works with the notes of the apple pie to give it that fresh baked taste. My gramma’s apple pie never tasted smoky … but this doesn’t taste really smoky either … it just tastes crisp and inviting and very … autumnal. A really well-conceived blend.

I’ve been chatting on the “subscription” thread in the forum … I should mention that the 52Teas subscription is one I have kept ongoing for years now. I WON’T be without it … mostly because I just know that the moment I cancel it, there will be like a run of two or three teas that I have to try and at least one of them will end up selling out before I get it. I just … can’t let that happen.

Sounds like something I need for Autumn.

I am obsessed with tea!

I am a co-founder of the SororiTEA Sisters:

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

http://52teas.com

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
