8872 Tasting Notes
So funny that i haven’t reviewed this, but honestly i’m just not sure what to make of this years teas from TTC, this is NOT the lot that i feel in love with, but this is pretty good and has that familiar cinnamon like taste to it, especially the more it cools. I’ll need to try this one at a lower temperature and see what i can get out of it
Another sample from the toronto tea festival. This one is fairly delicious, though bar far my favourite has been inthe jin jun mei from capital teas. This has a nice medium body with some sweetness and that typical sort of ruby red flavouring. Happy to have tried this and looking forward to hopefully seeing some new vendors this year.
another tea for the Toronto Tea festival. I’m lazy and don’t want to add it to the database. It’s here: https://www.tearoma.com/collections/black-tea/products/red-ruby
“Red Ruby” from Tearoma.
This is actually a fairly nice tea. The leaves are rolled and when brewed, to me this is almost a malty honeyed brew versus being just a honeyed tea. It’s got a deeper flavour and bolder brew than the TTC tea i had this morning, which makes it more up my alley. I don’t need more of this, but i may check out some of the other offerings this company has based on the strength of this one.
