9755 Tasting Notes
Tea for today. We’re not doing much this thanksgiving, and I’m ok with it. We spent most of the weekend moving the house around and throwing out things that we probably should have tossed a while back. Starting to feel like we’re getting somewhere with things we’ve held off doing. I wanted a straight tea today and this one was pulled out because it’s been a while. It was the perfect accompaniment to breakfast this morning! Kinda wish i could have another cup, but trying to keep caffeine to the minimum.
Opted for this one after the other cup. I wanted something a little fruity but wasn’t quite ready to dig in to the couple of teas i’m hoarding from 52 teas. Added a tiny bit of sugar to this one and it’s really brought the strawberries to the forefront and made the honey seem more present. Really enjoying this cup today while i watch the rain come down.
Sample from my order with 52 teas recently. I wanted to try it today so that I can pack the rest of it in the bag of teas for VariaTEA. Hopefully she has more success with it than i did because this is a total miss for me. Something about the tea + maybe the orange just made this a sort of musty tea with a flavour i just wasn’t up for. Maybe it’s the raisins? Not sure, but whatever it is, it just doesn’t work for me. I’m a little ok with that since there are so many other 52 teas that i want and can’t have unless they come back :)
Roswell strange you rock✨Thanks for the tip on getting the page to stop being screwy. Had this one a few days ago but couldn’t about it. It’s like revisit from my friend Walter Bishop (which I prefer with roibos but will deal with honeybush). Creamy, strawberry goodness….I feel like Walter Bishop was a little more strawberry, while this one is a little more creamy… delicious! Is where I’m landing on. :)
Another tea from earlier today after a walk out with husband and doggo. Long weekend, though since my parents are away, we have zero obligations besides spending time together. I’m fighting a little bit of sick, so he’s taking the doggo out every morning so i can sleep in. it’s fantastic. However we did get out together today and are hoping to make a dent in organising the house. I’d like to get more of that done before i’m a walrus who can’t move :)
Pulled this one out after we got back as a treat to enjoy after lunch. Really enjoy this one – something about the cacao just works for me, even though i’m generally not a huge fan of white chocolate in anything :) Still wish i’d been able to try the black tea version, but these days non caffeinated is better sigh
Steepster is driving me nuts. I’ve been trying to log another 52 teas that i had the other day but it gives me the weird page for the tea, so i’m SOL for now. But let me tell you, i’m a fan of strawberry sundae!
I pulled this one out to try today. While i’m not drinking as much tea, i AM trying to make sure i work my way through all my teas. This tea is full of dried raspberries, and the occasional lemon :) Today this brewed up rather nicely as a green raspberry tea. While the lemon was there in the background, i didn’t get a lot of creamy cheesecake goodness. That being said, I tend to find the second cup of a new 52 tea always works better for me ’cause i can shake up the pouch a little better :) Still enjoyed it though
Tea from yesterday. Decided to treat myself to this one, even though hte it last thing I want to do is finish this bag off. Feeling that way about several of the 52 teas in my cupboard so it kinda sucks haha. This was another great tea to have now that most of the days here are filled with rain and dark skies. I love fall, but can’t wait for the snow. Although that being said, not sure how much biking I’ll get to do this year given that I’m pregnant. Woot woot.
Thanks for reblending this one Anne. So glad I got to pick up more of this one and that variatea was awesome enough to let me have more of hers :)
