Picked this up during a trip to Home Goods. They sometimes have gourmet foods. So I picked up this tin & it ended up being the best buy on the day.

I love this tea hot or cold. Iced during the summer offers a refreshing drink. Hot during the winter offers some warmth. Either way, you get a delightful full body flavored cuppa tea.

The ginger is the strongest note in this one….so avoid it if you don’t care for ginger.

So my friend tells me that everyone on here is raving about this flavor & that we have to try it. We end up finding it at our new local Fairway. And after hearing how people have a hard time finding it, I was really excited about trying this flavor.

After one cup, I wonder what the hype is all about!
I didn’t like it. I didn’t think there was much of a pepppermint flavor. And a hint of cinnamon? Where? I couldn’t find it.

I have been drinking more loose leaf teas over the last year, but I still grab a teabag every now & again. And I love Celestial Seasonings, but Candy Cane Lane didn’t impress me. I definitely won’t grab this one again.

Sadly, I’m really disppointed.

Second cup did nothing to change my mind. Sorry Celestial Seasonings. This just won’t work.

drank Forest Berries by Adagio Teas

So far, this is my ‘go to’ tea whenever people are coming over. I’ve had several tea parties where this has been the star & no one has ever had a bad thing to say about it.

I appreciate the aroma during brewing. And I let this tea steep for a few minutes before straining it. Sometimes I even leave the tea leaves in while it’s been kept warm on a tea warmer. I don’t think the flavor gets bitter…..although it could just be because we finish the pot too fast!

This tea is one to always have on hand. It’s perfect hot or iced.

There is a wonderful berry flavor. The smell during brewing matches the flavor during drinking. I love that.

drank Fruit Medley by Adagio Teas

I first stumbled upon this tea in Whole Foods. They have it in the tins under the name of Fruit Sangria. I bought the tin & wished I had bought more!

First off, this tea doesn’t work well for me hot. I can only drink it iced. And I love it! No sugar or sweetners needed. Just natural on its own. I’ve been making it iced all summer & it’s been a big hit. Now when people come over they naturally expect it to be in my fridge.

For the record, I went through about 4 pounds of this tea in one month. I will definitely need to stock up on it before next summer!

I ended up getting this flavor in a sampler pack of their teabags. I was a little worried about it, but gave it a try. I love it! Great fresh fruit smell that awakens the senses. I loved it!

I enjoyed this tea hot, but I appreciate it more iced.
No milk or any sweetners.
I love it straight on its own.

drank Rooibos Orange by Adagio Teas
52 tasting notes

I had never heard of Rooibos tea until I stumbled upon the Adagio Teas site. I picked up a sample pack of Rooibos Orange to give it a try. Instantly it became one of my favorite teas. Nothing is more relaxing than a delightful cuppa Rooibos Orange tea to soothe away the days woes. I love the smell of orange as it brews. And I love the strong orange taste. This is definitely a tea to keep on hand.

I also like it iced.
No milk, just a little fresh honey.

drank White Tangerine by Adagio Teas
52 tasting notes

I have been looking to try more white teas. I picked this one in the sampler pack. It’s not bad. I don’t get a lot of the tangerine notes. There is a citrus aroma as it brews, but during drinking it seems to lessen. Maybe it’s just me, but I wanted a stronger citrus taste.

Overall, not a bad flavor….but it should be stronger.

drank Valentines by Adagio Teas

Ahhh Valentine’s…..for when you want that hint of chocolate & strawberries without the added calories. I love a good strong cuppa Valentine’s to relax. I let it steep extra long & it doesn’t come out tasting bitter or bad.

I haven’t tried it with milk yet. Maybe I should….might make it more enjoyable.

drank Masala Chai by Adagio Teas

Not my favorite Chai tea. The flavor is okay, but I feel like I need more to get any flavor. I had the sample bag & once it runs out, I doubt I’ll buy it again.
