2 Tasting Notes

Water temp- just boiling
Steep time- 6 minutes

A delicious tea- I think I may try to stock up on a few boxes to last me throughout the year.

As a side note, I was nauseous for the last few days. I read that ginger helps ease the tummy. I drank this tea and it seemed to help!

Upon opening the package, the first smells I noticed were cinnamon and ginger- reminded me of a Christmas spice aisle at the Grocers. I also noticed another spice smell, but I can’t identify it at the moment.

The tea steeps to a nice dark golden brown.

It doesn’t exactly taste like a gingerbread cookie, but you can definitely taste the ginger, cinnamon, and other woody-type flavours.

The cinnamon flavour coats your tongue- it leaves a pleasant tingle.

The tea bags smell like a freshly opened pack of spearmint gum. I absolutely love spearmint, so YUM!
To me, spearmint is also the main flavour that I detect (please note, I have yet to develop my “tea palette” , so I may add to this in the future)
This tea is very calming and comforting, like a warm, soft blanket. I really do look forward to drinking it before bed every night.
It leaves a pleasant and light aftertaste in the mouth.
Also delicious when cream is added to it!

Very recently, I just discovered how amazing tea can be! (Yes, it takes me awhile to catch onto things, lol)
The eternal student in me wants to learn everything about the different teas out there, and the adventurous foodie part of me wants to taste them all!

Please note: I usually take my tea with 3 sugars and that is what I will be basing my thoughts on. I will be sure to note, if I have prepared my tea any other way.

ALSO; being a beginning tea enthusiast, I have not developed a proper “tea palette” yet. So my thoughts my be a little short.
