Why is Whispering Pines' Vanilla Dreams Collection always Out of Stock?

Rivendell, Port, and Elderwood were just released a week or so ago. There appeared to be only about 2-6oz of each released, unless I am mistaken. They went pretty quick, gone in a few days. Glad I happened to see Brenden’s Steepster post when I did, and was able to snag a few of my favs that I’ve been waiting forever for. Ambrosia and Cocoa Amore were available somewhat recently in the past few months, you must have just missed them.

Haha, yep, I got some Ambrosia about a week ago when he posted :). Haven’t gotten to try Cocoa Amore yet, though (maybe just as well…$$$ :P). I want to refill on Golden Orchid, though!

I would also love to know if Brenden has any plans for a more stable or more frequent inventory stock. It seems the demand is there for the higher priced ones for sure..

Unfortunately, it takes a LOT of work to blend these teas. I’d go into the way the vanilla gets added to the tea if it wasn’t a trade secret ;-) But it’s all hand cut and very carefully processed. That, coupled with the high demand and low supply for many of the base teas makes it difficult for me to keep them in stock. For instance, there was a total of 4 pounds of Rivendell released over the last few weeks. The first pound sold out between 11pm and 8am.

That being said, I have begun focusing on building the inventory for those teas and would expect by fall that they won’t have this issue anymore.

Also, I’d like to add…This community has been the only reason I’ve made it this far. You all kinda deserve dibs on everything. If you are needing (or wanting) stuff that’s out of stock, send me a message with the Contact Us page on my site. I can usually do custom orders for things that are listed out of stock if I have the ingredients available.
